About the Author

Bonnie Lou Oliver

author of Faithwalk, A Walk from Darkness to the LIGHT

Diverse would best describe Bonnie. Her story challenges many, but especially the men living out their sentences in prison, whether on death row or spending life in prison. All…she treats with respect, and they returned that respect. She meets a man who is truly innocent, not believing the injustice she witnessed, she takes up the gauntlet to fight his case.

She could not do anything about the injustices in her own life, but she believed making a difference in another’s life, would make her life worth living. She takes the knowledge she gained from extensive study up to the governor’s office…building a rapport that also gains respect. Justice…that is all she wants—justice!

About the Author

Gregory Oliver

author of Walking Free: From Bondage to Liberty

Born in the inner city of St. Louis, Missouri, Gregory encountered all the situations a young man from the inner-city encounters. Fortunately, he received the foundation from his father and mother as instructed by the Lord, “train up a child in the way he should go and when he becomes old, he will not depart from it.”

From a youth, everyone commented on his smile. He wore it continually no matter his environment. Gentle meekness would describe your first impression of him.

Innocent man in a corrupt system

This book is a must-read! It’s heartfelt that an innocent black man was locked up for no reason. He stood on the word of God never doubting that God was going to set him free one day!

Great Job!

This book tells a tale of a true faithwalk by the author. Her story is compelling and keeps rolling from the moment she meets Greg up to the not yet conclusion of their story...

Prayer does work

I found this memoir inspiring. The author tells her story in short, easy to read chapters, which I like. The early part of the book details her difficult marriage to a soldier stationed overseas during the Vietnam War…
